Shadow Day has been an encouragement to our students because it gives students a chance to experience education from a perspective different than their own. Through experiential learning Educators Rising students are able to see how cultural, economic, and social issues can influence day-to-day classroom interaction and individual learning styles.
Shadow Day
Students cross district boundaries and visit local schools within the Northwest Suburban Integration School Districts (Anoka-Hennepin, Brooklyn Center, Buffalo, Elk River, Fridley, Mounds View, Osseo and Rockford) to shadow an educator for a day.
