Preschool Programs
Birch Grove Elementary School for the Arts AM & PM
Visual, Performing, Literary and New Media Arts
Magnet schools are public schools of choice, offering comprehensive, high-quality, thematic curriculum intended to "attract" diverse learners. Students who live outside a magnet school's attendance zone and demonstrate interest in the school's theme can apply for an opportunity to enroll in the magnet program. Funding for magnet curriculum and programming is allocated by local, state, and federal education money and grants. Northwest Suburban Integration School District's magnet school program serves Pre-Kinder through grade 12 students throughout the seven-member collaborative. Students are eligible to apply to any of the magnet schools if they live within the school districts of Anoka-Hennepin, Brooklyn Center, Buffalo-Hanover-Montrose, ISD728 (Elk River | Otsego | Rogers | Zimmerman), Fridley, Osseo, and Rockford.
