Family and Community Empowerment
FCE
Family and Community Empowerment (FCE) works with schools and families to improve student achievement through parental involvement. Whether it's improving parenting skills, supporting the value of cultural diversity in schools, supporting school activities or building partnerships in the community, FCE does what it takes to get parents engaged in their children's education.

We have created a website devoted specifically to FCE.  Our desire in preparing this online resource is to offer the best practices on various topics related to the strengthening of family/school connections that results in all students succeeding.

The website is designed for educators, parents and families, students and community partners.  Educators can access valuable resources for the classroom, working with parents and families as well as students.  Parents and family members are able to access resources to strengthen family relationships, academic help for students and collaboration with schools and teachers. There is a student highlight page along with activities and programs for youth to be change agents for their communities.  We've also included several community partners that serve, help educate, impact, and provide valuable resources for families and youth.  Click here to access the FCE Resource website.
